Author_Profile

Introduction

The author is a final-year undergraduate student majoring in English (Linguistics) in China. The author's academic interests lie in corpus linguistics and computational linguistics — particularly in how linguistic theory can inform and be informed by computational methods.

Since 2024, the author has been exploring the use of Python and corpus analysis tools such as AntConc, AntGram, and NeoSCA to examine language patterns in both literary and academic texts. This GitHub repository serves as a personal workspace where the author documents and shares small NLP tools developed and refined along the way — including but not confined to word frequency analyzers, lemmatizers, POS taggers, semantic classifiers, and sentiment analyzers.

The author is continuously learning, though this repository is updated on a low-frequency and irregular basis, as time permits.
