This replaces the legacy interpolated RXPS timings with a measured, radio-aware preamble-capture model.

  • Levels 1–8 now provide guarded, consistent behavior across SX126x and LR11x0 radios for spreading factors 6 and up
  • Timing accounts for radio capture cost, TCXO transition, timer granularity, and the Semtech duty-cycle condition.
  • Adds explicit max, overdrive, and riskyWorkingMax profiles with clear risk levels.
  • Reports actual applied timings and captured preamble symbols through the CLI.
  • Rejects configurations that cannot safely duty-cycle instead of applying unusable timings.
  • "balanced" is now level 6, and "conservative" equals level 3; both preamble 16
  • tested for many hours on: two T096, Heltec Tracker V2, Xiao NRF52 + wio sx1262, xiao nrf52 with waveshare sx1262; RAK 1W
  • tested using special testing rig on different conditions (in hause, city, long distace) - hundred thousands of packets in all possible settings with all spreading factors
