Software Engineer based in Groningen, Netherlands. I currently work at Hanze University of Applied Sciences (the largest University of Applied Sciences in the northern Netherlands) where I build backends, ship them through CI/CD, and occasionally make robots move.
I work across the stack, Python/FastAPI services on Azure, Next.js frontends, Azure DevOps pipelines, with a side interest in ROS 2 robotics.
- Building and reviewing backend data-monitoring systems (Python / Azure Functions)
- Designing CI/CD pipelines that catch security issues before merge
- Mentoring students
- Tinkering with ROS 2 for the Pieperkieker
A robotics project built with the team at [Hanze MakerSpace]. I'm the sole developer responsible for making the robot driveable: [owning the drive system end to end: motor control, kinematics, and closed-loop driving].
