Q: What do I do when I get a false positive?
A: Click either 'Continue anyway' or 'Always ignore this website'. You can also report the website so that the false positive gets fixed by clicking the 'Report as false positive' button.
Q: Does enabling more protection options slow down browsing?
A: No, it doesn't! Osprey is asynchronous, meaning it doesn't hold your web pages while waiting for responses from the enabled protection option providers. It runs everything in the background, so you shouldn't notice any slowdowns.
Q: Why does the report button sometimes take me to a blank screen?
A: You likely haven't set a default mailto: provider in your browser! You can visit this website on Indeed to figure out how to set it up. It might be as simple as visiting Gmail and allowing it to open mail links in the URL bar.
Q: How can I see which other providers have blocked a page on the warning page?
A: Hovering over the "(and X others)" text with your cursor should display them.
