Overview
Skillioz CV Builder is the candidate-side generation layer of the Skillioz ecosystem — the entry point into the Stockholm Protocol, our standard for verifiable candidate data. Where legacy resume tools stop at formatting, CV Builder is engineered to produce structured, machine-readable proof-of-work from the moment a candidate starts typing.
The Problem
Modern hiring has become an AI-on-AI war. Candidates use generative tools to inflate static PDFs with keyword-dense, low-signal content. Employers respond with ATS filters that shred those same PDFs for "semantic noise" — vague phrasing, formatting inconsistency, and unverifiable claims. Both sides lose: candidates get auto-rejected without explanation, and recruiters drown in applications they can't trust. Skillioz exists to remove the PDF as the single point of failure in that exchange.
Architecture & Engine Focus
CV Builder is composed of four coordinated layers:

The Generation Layer (CV Builder Core) An LLM-assisted authoring engine that converts unstructured, task-based input ("what I did") into structured, outcome-based proof-of-work data ("what I achieved, and how it's measurable"). Semantic noise is stripped at the point of creation, not audited after the fact.

The Scoring Layer (JD Match Score) A comparison engine that vectorizes a candidate's structured profile against a target job description, returning a quantified fit score. Replaces manual keyword-matching with a repeatable, transparent benchmark the candidate can act on before applying.

The Visibility Layer (Visitor Insights) An analytics layer attached to every Premium CV Link, surfacing engagement data — who viewed the profile, and when. This closes a feedback loop that static resume distribution never provided: candidates historically applied and heard nothing; Visitor Insights gives them a signal instead of silence.

The Export Layer Dual output by design. Every profile compiles into a live Premium CV Link conforming to the Stockholm Protocol, natively ingestible by the Skillioz AI-native ATS without OCR or legacy keyword extraction — and, in parallel, exports to PDF, Word, or Google Docs for the legacy submission channels that still require a static file. CV Builder does not force candidates to choose between the old system and the new one; it supports both while making the new one the default.
The Data Standard: Stockholm Protocol
The Stockholm Protocol is not a file format — it's a data contract. A Premium CV Link generated by CV Builder is structured so any Stockholm Protocol-compliant system (starting with the Skillioz ATS) can read verified, outcome-based candidate data directly, without re-parsing unstructured text. This is what allows the candidate side (CV Builder, CV Roaster) and the employer side (ATS) to operate as one ecosystem rather than two disconnected tools.
Integration Points
Upstream: Candidates without an existing structured profile start in CV Builder. Candidates with an existing resume can route it through the AI CV Roaster for an audit before rebuilding it in CV Builder. Downstream: Every CV Builder output is directly consumable by the Skillioz AI-native ATS, closing the loop between candidate-side generation and employer-side evaluation.
