Contributing to InVesalius, an open-source medical image processing and visualization platform.

  • Designed and implemented a complete .3MF import/export pipeline
  • Extended the application's pubsub architecture to support 3D manufacturing workflows
  • Implemented LPS ↔ Z-up coordinate transformations using vectorized NumPy
  • Built multi-surface export with per-vertex RGBA color mapping using lib3mf
  • Added geometry and export validation with CI-grade unit tests
  • Worked across Python, NumPy, VTK, DICOM, and visualization pipelines
  • 20+ merged PRs across rendering, UI workflows, DICOM handling, mesh processing, and export functionality
