• finalize the weather header with normalized condition icons, adaptive 2/66/100-degree typography, measured high/low alignment, and a compact seconds-bearing clock
• keep bird observations append-only during each hour, query from 15 minutes before the hour, refresh every minute, and perform a maintenance clear when the hourly window rolls over
• preserve the monumental train lead layout and compact bottom bike rail
