Java backend developer based in Hamamatsu, Japan (JST). Most of my work is event-driven microservices with Spring Boot, Kafka and Redis.
I've been writing Java professionally for 4+ years — three of them building enterprise systems at Assert Solutions in Colombia, then a middleware consulting contract at UTS Startups in Sydney. These days I work independently; my main project right now is KuraFlow, a language-learning platform I'm designing end to end.
- KuraFlow — language-learning platform for English (CEFR) and Japanese (JLPT). Six independently deployable Spring Boot microservices behind an API gateway, Kafka for events, PostgreSQL, Redis, and a Next.js frontend. Includes an SM-2 spaced-repetition engine, gamification and live leaderboards.
- order-management-system-hexagonal — event-driven order system built with ports & adapters. Domain-level state machine, cache-aside reads through Redis, Kafka events, Zipkin tracing.
- deepLearning — asynchronous deep-learning inference over Kafka using Deep Java Library.
- springboot-microservices-ecommerce — e-commerce backend on Spring Cloud with PostgreSQL, Redis and S3.
Also working with: Spring Security (OAuth2/JWT), Hibernate/JPA, ActiveMQ, MongoDB, Jenkins, Testcontainers, JUnit 5, Mockito, Prometheus/Grafana, Flyway, Maven, Linux.
