Adds docs/marketing/competitor-gaps.md — analysis of the /compare feature matrix identifying the biggest gaps deterring developer adoption of SonicJS, plus a proposed layered SDK plan.

Contents

  • Tier 1 hard filters: no official SDK, GraphQL roadmap-only, i18n roadmap-only, partial type-gen (undercuts "TypeScript-first" pitch)
  • Tier 2: weak relationship modeling, no conditional/computed fields, SQLite-only, no real-time/queues, no SSO
  • Tier 3: trust signals (~1.6k stars, no marketplace, missing "finished" features)
  • SDK plan: JS/TS-first core client → type layer (ties to type-gen gap) → framework adapters (React first). Edge angle: same-Worker server+client SDK competitors can't match.

Ranks the biggest SonicJS gaps in the /compare feature matrix that deter
developer adoption (no SDK, GraphQL/i18n roadmap-only, partial type-gen,
weak relationship modeling) and proposes a layered JS/TS-first SDK plan.
