Linux-native Live2D VTubing software

Status

Work in progress

VLiva is currently in active development.

Public testing is not available yet because the project is still preparing the required Live2D Cubism SDK licensing / review process before release.

About VLiva

VLiva is a VTubing application for Linux that can load and run VTuber models created with Live2D.

The project was created from the problem of using VTubing software on Linux.
Many VTubing tools are mainly built for Windows, and running them on Linux through compatibility layers can be unstable, limited, or inconvenient.

VLiva aims to provide a Linux-native VTubing workflow, including:

  • Live2D model loading
  • Webcam-based face tracking
  • Real-time avatar control
  • OBS / streaming workflow support
  • Native Linux desktop UI

VLiva is not intended to be a clone of VTube Studio.
It is its own VTubing application built for Linux users.
