I’m the creator of DeskBox, a free and open-source Windows desktop organizer built with C#, WinUI 3, .NET 10, and Windows App SDK. It organizes desktop files through real-folder-backed widgets without replacing Explorer, and supports both x64 and ARM64 Windows PCs.

DeskBox started with a practical problem: my desktop was getting messy, and the organizers I tried either felt heavy or changed familiar Windows behavior.

The project now includes automated tests, five interface languages, direct installers, and a Microsoft Store edition. Its source and release history are public so people can inspect both the product and the work behind it.
