Linux procfs/cgroup and macOS sysctl share one platform classifier so Mac no longer falls back to a 128 MiB RAM ceiling.
One stdlib entrypoint installs the toolchain and builds the native extension without importing torch first.
Hosted macOS CI plus Apple Silicon and Intel release artifacts so pip install works without a source build.
Install, FAQ, and release notes now state Linux production, macOS CPU/source, and Windows unsupported.
