Answers 'is this Mac-only?' with tested facts: it never was (pure Python, py3-none-any, full suite already green on Ubuntu every PR). Adds macos-latest to the CI matrix so both claims are continuously tested, a README platform statement (Windows honestly marked untested with the reasons), and updates curation.md's slim section for everything shipped in v0.10.x (plugins, consolidation, recommend-hot/alwaysLoad, --share, cost caveat).

…im v2

whetkit was never Mac-only — pure Python, py3-none-any wheel, and CI
has always run the full suite on Ubuntu. Make the macOS claim tested
(os matrix), say so in the README (Windows: untested, POSIX shell
assumptions named), and bring curation.md's slim section up to v2
(plugins, dedupe consolidation, --recommend-hot/alwaysLoad, --share,
cost caveat).
The ruleset requires a check named lint-and-test; the matrix renamed
legs to 'lint-and-test (os)', permanently blocking merges. A gate job
keeps the required name stable regardless of matrix shape.
