A warm Midwestern welcome!

My name is David, but most who know me call me D. J. I've lived in Illinois for all of my life, floating from the St. Louis area, to Chicago, and then back to the St. Louis region once again.

I have over 10 years of experience using Geospatial tools, mostly ArcDesktop, ArcPro with a smattering of QGIS thrown in here and there. While these desktop applications are great, I've been wanting to explore programming in Python, using Spatial SQL and delving more into Spatial Data Analysis / Science / Engineering. I'm hoping to use this space to showcase my programming journey with those who want to see.

I've loved weather since I was in the 2nd grade, and it's what I went to college for. Don't be surprised if a lot of these projects involve weather components of some sort.
