Now directories with more than 64 entries are listed fully, The listing output was beautified and error messages are more detailed and accurate.

Thanks for both of these, and apologies for the delay. I can't take either as-is, they remove dlp_strerror() from the public API, which would force a soname bump and a J-Pilot/distro transition, and at ~1000 real lines across 20 files against a November 2024 base they now conflict too heavily to review reliably.

Issue #26 is a genuine bug and I'm keeping it open. If you're still interested, a small PR against current main that only raises the limit in print_dir(), and ideally the matching one in pilot-foto-treo650.c — plus your pilot-xfer_list_D.sh test would be easy to land.
