Hass-Cleaner is a Home Assistant App for inspecting and cleaning files, entities, devices and Recorder data in a controlled and recoverable way.
It can help identify:
- old log files;
- rebuildable cache files;
- temporary files;
- persistently unavailable entities;
- unused registered entities;
- devices without entities;
- inconsistent registry relationships;
- old Recorder data.
A finding is never treated as automatic permission to delete something.
Hass-Cleaner explains:
- why an item was found;
- its risk classification;
- what could stop working;
- how recovery works;
- which checks must still be performed by the user.
Scanning is read-only. Changes are possible only after explicit selection and confirmation.
Warning
Hass-Cleaner can modify files, Home Assistant registry objects and Recorder data. Review every selection and preferably create a full Home Assistant backup first. Use is at your own risk.
