…NANCE The masthead opens with the problem (a game from 2600 BC is still playable; a game from 2014 may not be) and is unified by the separation principle rather than a borrowed analogy: Linux is scoped to RUNS, the Knight to AEMS, staff notation to MAPS, and WOCS deliberately carries none. Adds a belief-scoping table (each layer's actual dependencies — Lightning is WOCS-only), Start Here audience routing, and three new profile documents: WHY.md (the economics-free diagnosis), STATUS.md (asserted-vs-verified ledger with the falsifiable Spacewar oracle milestone), and GOVERNANCE.md (cathedral posture, fork legitimacy, bus factor stated plainly). FAQ gains the open-source-engine (Godot) and emulation/preservation questions and drops the "interlocking"/RFC-process claims. EGS-AI-FRAMING is rewritten from evaluate-only-from-within to pre-steelmanned objections with honest responses. The internal README drops the fictional protocol-team framing for the actual single-author principles. Book references corrected to published (First Edition, 2026). Grounded in four falsification-research passes: - Separate provenance (always public, always maximal) from content openness (an author-controlled dial: open/windowed/reserved). A Nostr event carries a hash, not the work — the DOI model. - State the crypto claims honestly: signatures are tamper-evident, not durable; priority requires an external anchor (OpenTimestamps), since event timestamps are client-asserted. - Replace first-experience/escape-room revenue claims with the conversion economy: provenance protects credit, the store protects the sale, reputation converts through patronage and the next work. - Add "Craft Compounds on Sealed Work": study-the-pattern vs fork-the-material; spoiler-abstracted MAPS notation. - State scope limits explicitly instead of claiming universality. - FAQ: the "spoiled" answer now leads with "publishing provenance does not publish the work" (seal/dial/sale split, DOI model) instead of first-encounter monetization and sealed-content markers; copying-vs-claiming answer now notes anchored priority. - README: PWNS paragraph describes the seal/dial separation and that provenance protects credit while the sale stays with the store, replacing "first-experience economics." - CONTEXT: PWNS glossary entry gains the seal/dial definition. Delete every self-referential honesty phrase ("honest state", "stated
plainly", "not hidden", "refuse to inflate", "honestly rather than
performing") across the profile docs. Scoped disclosures stay: asserted
vs verified, no implementations, the falsifiable milestone. STATUS.md
remains the single long home for the epistemic frame; other pages carry
one terse status line and a link. Also fixes a FAQ overclaim
("work-in-progress reference implementations" — none exist).
