as the title suggests, this adds a treeplacer config so geophilic trees are grown from saplings instead of vanilla trees, when in the correct biome. this also addresses #3 for those willing to install treeplacer. its presence doesn't hurt anything if treeplacer isn't installed, but I can publish it separately if it adds too much overhead.
