Ansoff is a local-first claims-and-evidence ledger for strategy work. It keeps immutable source snapshots, descriptive evidence, interpretive claims, typed strategy worksheets, and an append-only mutation log under .ansoff/.
Install with uv sync --extra test, then run uv run ansoff --help and uv run ansoff explain loop.
Before making a recommendation, use ansoff option add to compare at least three alternatives. Each option must cite supporting, challenging, and assumption claims and state a testable prediction. ansoff option recommend enforces that gate; ansoff option export-kahn creates a model-free handoff for testing the alternatives across scenarios in Kahn.
The CLI never calls an LLM. Agents do research and prose work outside the tool, then register artifacts and references explicitly.
