🎯 What: Refactored the long downloadDMG method into multiple single-responsibility methods (mountAndInstallDMG, extractMountPoint, installApp, unmountDMG).
💡 Why: The original method was overly long and complex, handling networking, process execution, parsing, filesystem changes, and process cleanup all in one block. Breaking it down improves maintainability and readability. Also updated Process usage to modern APIs (executableURL instead of launchPath, run() instead of launch()), fixed potential pipe buffer deadlocks with readabilityHandler, and addressed TOCTOU security issues by dynamically reading the mount point.
✅ Verification: Ran test_build_dmg.sh to verify build scripts are unaffected. Visually inspected the code changes to ensure all dependencies and logic were correctly moved.
✨ Result: AppDelegate.swift is cleaner, safer, and conforms to modern Swift best practices.
