This migration will convert your mysql tables to INNODB, and create indexes on commonly indexed fields.

These fields are defined in @fields_to_index. ie:

  @fields_to_index = ['name', 'value', 'type', '_id', 'sku', 'is_', '_at', '_on', 'email',
                     'postal', 'zip', 'state', 'country', 'position', 'login', 'bin', 'controller',
                     'action', 'token', 'code', 'uuid', 'guid', 'gender', 'link']

NOTE:

You probably want to have your mysql database store a file for each table for INNODB. This is NOT the default.

The settings for /etc/my.cnf

[mysqld]
innodb_file_per_table
default_storage_engine=INNODB
