She/her. Emo programmer gf who has a weird obsession with old text editors.
I don't really want to use github any more, for a variety of reasons:
- It's clear to me now that this is an AI slop platform full of low-effort LLM junk. That's not something I want to contribute to.
- GitHub is owned by Microsoft, and that particular hypocrisy of mine has stopped being something I can justify to myself.
- I don't really have time for recreational programming any more. My career has accelerated and I have significantly more, and more demanding, responsibilities. I want to spend my free time on other things instead (social life, other hobbies).
In the at this point unlikely event I return to recreational programming, I will do so either back on sourcehut, or over on codeberg.
Even so, I plan to leave my old repos up, maybe even updating them occasionally. And those of you still trapped here - I endeavor to answer your queries in good time. Respect my time and I'll respect yours.
I will not rewrite any of my repositories in Rust. I do not care about crypto, blockchains, AI, NFTs, metaverse, or any other hype bubble.
