YAML Driven UI Construction using Angular as it's Implementation.
This project was generated using Angular CLI version 22.
yUI is a YAML-driven UI framework that enables dynamic UI construction by parsing YAML descriptors to automatically generate web pages and components — without manual HTML coding.
Built on Angular v22, yUI leverages dynamic component instantiation to transform declarative YAML into live, interactive user interfaces.
- Define your pages in YAML files — widgets, layouts, forms, and data tables
- Register TypeScript action handlers for business logic
- Render — yUI parses YAML and dynamically builds the Angular component tree
For Example:
page:
title: home
name: home_page
html: |
<p><b><i>Hello World!</i></b></p>
favicon: favicon.pngOther:
page:
title: dashboard
name: dashboard_page
widget: other_yaml_ui_descriptor_reference
widget: other_yaml_ui_descriptor_reference_2
widget: other_yaml_ui_descriptor_reference_3npm installTo start a local development server, run:
ng serveOnce the server is running, open your browser and navigate to http://localhost:4200/. The application will automatically reload whenever you modify any of the source files.
Angular CLI includes powerful code scaffolding tools. To generate a new component, run:
ng generate component component-nameFor a complete list of available schematics (such as components, directives, or pipes), run:
ng generate --helpTo build the project run:
ng buildThis will compile your project and store the build artifacts in the dist/ directory. By default, the production build optimizes your application for performance and speed.
To execute unit tests with the Karma test runner, use the following command:
ng testFor end-to-end (e2e) testing, run:
ng e2eAngular CLI does not come with an end-to-end testing framework by default. You can choose one that suits your needs.
