I'm Kepler Ridge, a Biology PhD student at Brigham Young University. Welcome to my GitHub profile!

About Me

  • I have large interests in developing tools and workflows to lower the barriers of bioinformatics research for those without a computational background.
  • My research focuses on metagenomics of extremophilic organisms, specifically from the Dry Valleys of Antarctica.
  • I love science and machine learning, and helping others understand the hard science concepts as well as ethical considerations in those fields.

My goals at this time are...

  • Develop tools that increase computational availability to others.

  • Establish myself as a high-quality researcher in biology.
