A source-first public-interest project that turns Tennessee laws, court decisions, government technology records, and other public evidence into structured, reviewable entries. The project uses documented research workflows, validation, CI, source traceability, revision history, privacy safeguards, and explicit uncertainty instead of filling gaps with assumptions.
A Discord operations bot built around local Ollama inference, Python, SQLite, scheduling, model tool-calling, permission checks, persistent memory, RSS monitoring, and automated tests. It explores how local AI can be useful without handing model inference and persistent memory to a remote LLM provider.
A weather-based planning tool that translates temperature, pressure, humidity, and other conditions into an explainable chronic-pain forecast, with an emphasis on clear reasoning, accessible interaction, and practical everyday use.
A minimal Windows desktop internet-radio player built with Flutter and Dart. It includes local bookmarks and recent history, resilient stream handling, explicit privacy and network disclosures, automated tests, and a packaged Windows release.

I’m interested in the invisible systems that shape people’s experiences with technology: how they ask for help, how information moves, how decisions are made, and what happens when a process fails.
My background in technical support has shown me that many “user problems” are really system problems—unclear instructions, unnecessary steps, inaccessible interfaces, missing context, or workflows designed around the organization instead of the person using them.
I enjoy taking complicated processes and making them easier to understand, maintain, and navigate.
I’m especially interested in the space between technical configuration and human experience:
How do we make complicated systems clearer, fairer, and less exhausting for the people who have to use them?
Experiments involving local control, open tools, private communication, model choice, and alternatives to locked-down platforms.

- OpenKitten — a Discord-first AI coding bot with model switching, OpenCode integration, tests, linting, and controlled configuration.
- Unseen and Strong — an offline-first Android app exploring low-pressure planning, routines, journaling, and advocacy tools for people living with chronic or invisible illness.
The web used to feel personal, strange, expressive, and alive. I still think it should.
These projects explore retro interfaces, browser audio, digital nostalgia, playful interaction, and the personality that modern software often sands away.
- Build for people, not engagement metrics.
- Explain what the system is doing.
- Preserve user agency.
- Reduce shame, friction, and unnecessary complexity.
- Make accessibility part of the design, not an afterthought.
