🌐 Country Selection Guide
The country selector lets you test your connection to different regions. Here's what you need to know:
🇳🇬 Nigeria — Accurate Local Testing
Select Nigeria to test your real local speed. The tool downloads files from Nigerian or nearby CDN servers, giving you accurate results for your local connection.
🌍 Auto — Smart Server Selection
Use "Auto" to let the tool automatically choose the closest available server. This is great for general testing when you don't have a specific region in mind.
🌏 International Countries — Simulated Performance
Selecting countries like USA, UK, Germany, Japan, or Singapore applies realistic latency factors to simulate international performance. This helps you understand what speeds to expect when accessing content from those regions.
Important Note
The tool does not connect to actual servers in other countries. Instead, it applies realistic latency factors based on physical distance. This gives you a good estimate of international performance without requiring a global server infrastructure.
Best Practice
· Use your actual location for accurate local results · Use other countries for international performance estimates · Use "Auto" when you're not sure which server to pick
📊 Understanding Your Results
Download Speed
Measures how fast data can be downloaded from the internet to your device. Higher is better.
Upload Speed
Measures how fast data can be uploaded from your device to the internet. Higher is better.
Ping (Latency)
Measures the time it takes for a data packet to travel to a server and back. Lower is better.
Jitter
Measures the variation in latency over time. Lower is better for stable connections.
Packet Loss
Shows the percentage of data packets that don't reach their destination. Lower is better.
Quality Score
An overall rating of your connection quality based on speed, ping, and jitter. Ranges from "Excellent" to "Very Poor".

💡 Pro Tips
For Nigerian Users
Keep the country selector on Nigeria for the most accurate local results. Nigeria is the default and most reliable option.
For International Users
Use "Auto" or select your actual region for accurate local results. Other countries will give you simulated international performance estimates.
Testing at Different Times
Run tests at different times of day to see how your connection performs during peak vs. off-peak hours. This can help you identify network congestion patterns.
Export Your Data
If you're experiencing issues with your ISP, export your test history and share it with their support team. Having data makes troubleshooting easier.
Monitor Over Time
Use the auto-test feature to build a long-term history of your connection performance. This is especially useful for identifying gradual degradation or intermittent issues.
