My work has always been the same: taking something complex and explaining it so people understand it and know what to do with it. Eight years in international communications taught me that information without context is worth very little.
When I started working with data, I found the same problem in a new place: organisations with regulation on top of them, data everywhere, and no clear idea of where to start. That is where I fit.
I work with data by building my own projects in SQL, Python and Power BI, like an observatory of the Spanish labour market that documents its whole pipeline with governance criteria. I understand the legal framework because I hold a Master's in Human Rights. And I hold the CDMP Associate certification from DAMA to formalise that knowledge in data management. I know how to explain it because I have done it for years with very different audiences, in English, French and Spanish, across more than 15 countries and with over 200 people trained.
What I am looking for now is to help organisations have not just governance frameworks, but teams who understand what they mean and know how to apply them. That takes someone who understands the rules, can explain them to any team, and measures whether they are working.
