Course 3: use bold instead of italics for emphasis - #1376
Merged
Conversation
Italics cannot be applied inside a heading, a callout headline, link text or a code span, so a rule that reserves them for emphasis leaves gaps wherever those appear - and a word emphasised in one sentence and plain in the next reads as a mistake rather than as emphasis. Bold works everywhere. Seven conversions across five steps; the course now contains no italics at all.
