Hi, if you're interested this is the cherry-picked version of JD557#74. I've been running this patch on my server for over a month now, and apart from the odd
prune-old-data, it's been running smoothly without any manual interventions. That's a significant improvement over the original codebase, which had overflowing queues every two weeks or so.
