Teaching materials, talk and seminar resources, and assorted notes on (computational) linguistics by Thomas Stephan Juzek.

Each top-level folder is a self-contained project, prefixed with its year.

Contents

  • 2022-lin-3041-praat-tutorial/: a hands-on Praat tutorial (reading spectrograms, formants, and pitch), from the LIN 3041 phonetics course.
  • 2022-ai-outperforms/: a December 2022 essay, "ChatGPT has just passed one of my intro-to-linguistics assignments".
  • 2026-rlvr-presentation/: slides and a runnable demo for a talk on Reinforcement Learning from Verifiable Rewards (RLVR), SC-AI Seminar, FSU.

Licences are declared per project (per folder). Unless a folder says otherwise:

  • Code is under MIT No Attribution (MIT-0). See LICENSE.
  • Text and other content is under CC0 1.0 (public domain dedication). See LICENSE-DATA.

All projects currently use this default. If a project's licence differs, its folder will say so.

If you reuse these materials, a credit or a link back is appreciated, though not required.
