Hi, I'm Zack 👋

AV control systems programmer, software developer and production engineer

  • 🎛️ Q-SYS certified, currently working toward CTS and Q-SYS 201 programming certs
  • 🛠️ Maintain and develop modules for Bitfocus Companion, used in live production and control workflows
  • 🔍 I reverse-engineer undocumented device protocols — see etc-server for an example: a UDP-based ETC Echo controller emulator built in C# so control plugins can be developed and tested without a live device
  • 💻 Currently building a general-purpose UDP capture/replay tool (C#/WPF) for reverse-engineering AV control protocols

Currently focused on: C# and control system integration for AV/broadcast environments.
